incorporate a tracking number field in the admin area
After an order is received and is ready to be despatched, we manually e-mail the customer with a link to the website of the courier that will deliver their goods and a tracking number for them to use to track their order in transit.
It would be great if, when we update the status of an order (eg: changing it to 'order despatched'), there were two fields where we can enter the website for them to visit, and their tracking number, both of which would be included in the update e-mail sent to the customer.

Although there’s currently no specific field for this in order manager, what you can do is add an order note. The note text can contain these details, emails the user and update the status at the same time.
